Terms and Conditions
Please review the following International Holidays terms, booking responsibilities, cancellation rules, commission details, and privacy practices before submitting or managing reservations.
International Holidays Terms & Conditions
International Holidays, Inc. is referred to below as “IH.” By booking a reservation, the travel agency or booking representative, referred to as the “Agent,” represents to IH that the Agent accepts and agrees to the terms and conditions stated on this page.
Package inclusions
An International Holidays package generally includes the hotel room, parking for one vehicle per room, and transfer service to and from the applicable airport or cruise port when such transfer service is offered by the participating hotel. Parking duration, transfer schedules, transfer destinations, and available transfer capacity vary by hotel.
All hotel rooms are considered run of house, which means specific room types and bedding arrangements are not guaranteed. Special requests will be submitted to the hotel when provided, but they remain requests and cannot be guaranteed by IH.
When transfer service is included, IH can only guarantee two one-way transfers per guest, referred to below as the “Client,” regardless of whether the transfer is to or from an airport or cruise port, unless otherwise specified at the time of booking. Transfers are typically provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
All incidental charges are the Client’s responsibility and must be paid directly to the hotel or applicable provider. Incidental charges may include, but are not limited to, alternate transfer destinations, meals, in-room entertainment, additional transportation, parking beyond the package terms, and other optional services. IH is not responsible for hotel incidentals, third-party shuttle company terms, or charges arranged directly by the Client or hotel.
Rates and availability
Rates, package inclusions, parking terms, and transfer details are subject to change without notice. IH contracts to provide the listed services and takes reasonable steps to confirm proper arrangements; however, IH is not liable for acts, omissions, transfer delays, operating practices, or service failures of participating hotels, parking facilities, shuttle operators, or other third parties outside IH’s direct control.
If IH cannot supply a confirmed room after confirmation, IH will attempt to offer comparable arrangements. If the revised arrangements are not acceptable to the Client, IH’s only liability will be to promptly refund any deposit paid for that reservation.
Payment & Documents
IH accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover for reservations made through International Holidays. Credit cards are charged immediately at the time of reservation, regardless of the Client’s arrival date.
Payments are treated as deposits held by IH and used in part to satisfy the package costs incurred by the cardholder and/or Client at the time of travel. Deposits are refundable before travel only as permitted by the applicable cancellation policy. Once the cancellation period has expired, IH is entitled to retain the full deposit amount.
Before submitting cardholder or Client payment information, the Agent must advise the cardholder and Client of these terms. By providing the Client’s address and payment information to IH, the Agent stipulates and verifies that:
- The agency has informed the cardholder and Client of all applicable terms and conditions.
- The cardholder and Client have authorized IH to charge the credit card.
- The cardholder and Client authorize IH to book the reservation for the total reservation price.
The reservation price includes the quoted room rate, applicable tax recovery charges, and service fee. It does not include fees that may be charged by the cardholder’s bank, including foreign transaction or currency conversion fees. All transactions are processed in U.S. Dollars (USD). Credit cards issued by non-U.S. banks may be subject to exchange-rate fluctuations between submission and processing.
Client documents will be sent to the agency by email upon receipt of full payment. Clients should identify themselves at check-in as International Holidays guests.
Cancellation Terms
Client reservations may be cancelled for a full refund only in accordance with the cancellation policy displayed for the selected hotel. IH holds the deposit in part to satisfy package costs incurred by the Client/cardholder at the time of travel. Once the hotel’s cancellation deadline has passed, the deposit becomes the sole and exclusive property of IH and is no longer refundable.
To cancel a reservation, contact International Holidays or the hotel. No refund will be issued if the vehicle has been parked before or on the arrival date, regardless of what the hotel may advise the Client. Same-day arrival reservations are non-refundable.
When Clients book both an outbound night and a return night to extend parking, the Agent must advise the Client that both reservations become non-refundable once the vehicle is parked. No refund or adjustment will be made for unused services. The agency is responsible for any reservation that is not properly cancelled.
Commission & Liability
Agent commission is 15% of the room rate and does not include tax or service charges. Commission checks for credit card reservations are generally issued approximately 45 days after the Client’s arrival.
Neither IH nor the hotel assumes liability for personal injury, loss of property, vehicle damage, or other damage to personal property. IH will not be liable for hotel departure delays, transfer delays, or the acts or omissions of participating hotels, parking facilities, transfer providers, or other third-party operators.
IH reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions as needed. Questions regarding these policies may be directed to International Holidays at 410-287-0708.
